Eileen lived a joyful and vibrant life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, friend and educator. She was born in Pasadena CA, the daughter of Irish immigrants, surrounded by the warmth of Irish family and friends. She was educated by the SNJM sisters at St. Andrews and earned her degree at Immaculate Heart College.
Eileen was a beloved teacher, for 39 years, including 35 years at El Morro school in Laguna Beach. Her deep faith and love for people shaped her life, and she was known for her positive outlook and mischievous sense of humor. She had a great passion for music, dancing, and Ireland. Eileen’s warmth and joy touched many lives, and she will be dearly missed by her three daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. Mass will be held Friday, March 21,10 AM at St. John Vianney.
